Documentary Photographer / ஆவணப்பட புகைப்படக் கலைஞர்
Amrita is a Thamizhachi who enjoys day-dreaming. When she’s not dreaming, she is either chasing light and moments, cooking her favourite urulaikilangu poriyal, or swaying to downtempo electro. Amrita works as a documentary photographer and is featured on The National Geographic, The New York Times, NPR and other publications. Her work focuses on identity, the environment, social issues, long form storytelling, and reportage on current affairs in Southeast Asia. Amrita aspires to explore the intersection of changing environments and its inhabitants. Discover a part of her world on @amritachandradas.
